Nearly 400 representatives from the Danish and international wind industry gathered to the Danish Wind Industry Annual Event 2014 in Herning. The new cooperation with the Danish Wind Industry Association was a great success and brought representatives from Danish universities, GTS-institutions and the industry together.
The Danish Wind Industry Annual Event has a strong focus on creating unique network opportunities and strong conference content contributing to the continued development of the Danish wind industry. This year the Danish Wind Industry and the Danish Research Consortium for Wind Energy co-organised the event. This led to an expanded focus of the event so it included focus on business strategies, market and supply chain development and technology, R&D and innovation.
This new concept meant improved network opportunities by gathering an even broader span of stakeholders from the entire industry under one roof.
